2010 Alvamar Cup

Jayhawk Golf Club member:
Enclosed is an entry form
for the 15th annual Alvamar Cup.
The Alvamar Cup will feature Ryder Cup style matches in a team format.
Match formats can include Four Ball, Singles and Scramble.
with some “senior” matches (over 60 years of age) to be included. We
have reduced
the entry fee to $65 from $80 and have decided to eliminate the
clothing and merchandise aspect
of the Cup. We are going with a gift certificates & cash prizes
this year.
We will have proxy
markers on every hole. Cash and other prizes will be award for closest
pin etc.
Every hole will have a prize!
A Mexican Buffet dinner will be served after the round, and there will
of course be some free beer on the beverage carts on the course!
Bob Kocour / Conrad Roberts will be the captains the
Crimson Team.
Curt Anderson / Chris
Anderson will be the captains for the Blue team.
The captains will draft the teams and assign matches to the players.
The matches/formats will be posted
on the Web and the bulletin board. All matches are match play. Each
match is worth 3 points
(1 pt. front nine, 1 pt. back nine, 1 pt. total). In the event of a tie
in the Total Team Competition
the
captains will select the players and format to play a sudden death
match to decide the Alvamar
Cup.
The Alvamar Cup has traditionally been one of the most fun events.
