Click to download an application for a 2010’ GHIN Handicap/Jayhawk Golf Club membership. I want to thank everyone that participated in last year's program. In the coming season we will  receive prime early morning tee times. The AGC team will continue to compete in the Kansas City Cup. The golf course maintenance crew continues to make improvements; the golf course should be in great condition this season. Please encourage all your golfing friends to consider joining our Golf Club. General Membership fees are $85; $55 for Country Club members and Alvamar employees. We have instituted a new no GHIN membership tier for those of you who do not want or need a GHIN handicap : $70 for regular members and $40 for ACC members.

The USGA handicap season begins March 1st; scores from that date forward should be entered on the computer. The equitable stroke control procedure for 2010’ will remain the same as in 2009’. The “Jayhawk” handicap methodology for our club also remains the same as last year. A full explanation both the USGA and the “Jayhawk” systems are available on our web site. Please enter a valid e-mail address on the application for membership; the GHIN handicap updates will be e-mailed to you this season. You can look up your index, change your email address and post scores on line at Ghin.com which is linked on our web site.

The JGC officers are Conrad Roberts and Chris Anderson; President and Vice President respectively. Van Reichert is the Tournament Director. G.A. Roberts is the JGC Director. Jeff Miller has retired from the board but and has agreed to remain the captain of the Kansas City Cup team. We will not be having a Kansas Cup team this year so be sure and talk to Jeff about playing for him in the KC cup!

The sign up and check in procedures for our weekly skins games will remain the same as last year. If you have to cancel a tee time you must call or contact G.A. Roberts. The Pro Shop staff will not take cancellations! If you fail to properly cancel a tee time you will be assessed a $25 no show fee.

The season opener is an 8:00 am shot gun on Sunday, April 4th ; the Masters players auction and free lunch will be held post round! Sign up sheets are up at Alvamar or you can email G.A. Roberts to be included in the season opener. We plan on having some fun team events as well as our usual individual skins game. It should be a great year! Please mail your applications to Alvamar or drop them off at the pro shop. Check the events calendar and Alvamar bulletin board for details on future events!
